Halely Balaban

Halely is an Assistant Professor of Cognitive Psychology at the Open University of Israel. She studied at Tel Aviv University’s Adi Lautman Interdisciplinary Program for Outstanding Students, and obtained a Cognitive Psychology MA and a PhD in Neuroscience from Tel Aviv University, working with Roy Luria. Her postdoc was at MIT’s CoCoSci lab, with Josh Tenenbaum. Halely’s research is currently funded by the ISF and an Alon Scholarship.

Shachar is a second year Psychology PhD student at Tel Aviv University co-advised by Roy Luria. She is interested in representations in working memory, and in particular how perceptual changes and physical knowledge shape them.

Elinor holds BA degrees in Psychology and Education, as well as a Social Psychology MA from the Open University of Israel. Her thesis focused on attentional processes in relation to neutral stimuli. She currently runs the Open University Psychology Research Lab.

Naama Or Kalinin

Naama is an undergraduate Psychology student at the Open University and a Research Assistant in the Psychology Research Lab. She is interested in understanding how physical environmental changes influence cognitive mechanisms and belief systems, particularly in therapeutic contexts.
